Designing the Visual Identity of Southern California’s Music Scene
Through Encore Design Pro and my involvement with OCML’s Digital Network, I spent over 10 years creating illustrated posters, promotional artwork, and visual campaigns for Southern California’s local music scene. I worked alongside venues, bars, promoters, and artists throughout Orange County helping shape the visual identity behind concerts, themed events, and live entertainment marketing.
From hand illustrated concert posters to digital promotional assets, the goal was to create visually driven artwork that captured the energy of each event while building a recognizable and experience focused presence across social media, venue promotions, and live event culture.

Creative Process
Concept Development
Every project began with exploring the tone, atmosphere, and identity behind the event. Inspiration was often pulled from music culture, film, underground poster art, and the overall energy surrounding the show or promotion.
Illustration & Design
Artwork was developed through a combination of sketching, digital illustration, typography, and layout design using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. The goal was to create visually engaging artwork that remained both expressive and promotional.
Promotional Application
Final designs were adapted across multiple formats including concert posters, social media graphics, digital flyers, and promotional assets used throughout venues, event campaigns, and the OCML Digital Network.
